Olurotimi qualified in 1991 from the School of dentistry University of Benin, Nigeria, and has worked in several hospitals both in the United Kingdom and abroad, including Luton and Dunstable Hospital, Kent and Canterbury Hospital, Bedford General Hospital, Watford General Hospital, Countess of Chester Hospital and Royal London Hospital. During his training in the hospitals, he reached the level of a Staff Surgeon in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Registrar in Paediatric Dentistry.
Olurotimi is committed to continuing professional development. He obtained a Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh in 2000, a certificate in Restorative Dental Practice in 2005, from the Eastman Dental Institute (Universities College London) one of the worlds renowned Postgraduate Institution.
In December 2009, Olurotimi obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute as part of his commitment to lifelong learning.
Olurotimi was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Health Services Leadership and Management by the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) in 2011. The diploma provided Olurotimi the educational experience that has advanced his knowledge and competence in the operational and strategic management of dental services, to ensure his dental team consistently provides a high quality of dental care.
In 2013, Olurotimi was awarded the Fellowship of the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) of the Royal College of Surgeons in recognition of his excellence in primary dental care. The fellowship is a significant maker of Olurotimi’s ongoing commitment to professional development and reflective practice. It is also a quality benchmarking that can be relied upon by organisations who commission services such as health commission boards and by patients.
Olurotimi is a lifelong learning practitioner and continues to advance his clinical skills and knowledge with the primary objective of enhancing the quality of patient care by completing an international Master programme in Advance General Dental Practice at the University of Birmingham in 2019.
Olurotimi has a strong interest in Implant dentistry. He completed a yearlong certificate implant programme at Bath Spa Dentistry in 2015, together with a five days Implant course at the Kois centre Seattle in 2016.
In January 2020, Olurotimi was awarded a membership in Primary Dental Care by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh after demonstrating in an exam a wide range of knowledge and understanding that underpins clinical patient management within the primary care setting. The standard of the exams is that of a practitioner who has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, at a level considerably beyond that of a graduating dentist.
Olurotimi enjoys running marathons and swimming in his spare time. He is married to Caroline and their marriage is blessed with children.
He was awarded and MBE In the King’s New years Honour List and proudly received his medal from Princess Anne at Windsor Castle in April 2024.
Nathaniel qualified from the School of Dentistry, University of Benin, Nigeria in 2004. After qualification, he completed his one-year vocational training in a multidisciplinary setting within a teaching hospital environment. Nathaniel has worked in several dental practices both in the United Kingdom and abroad.
Nathaniel is committed to continuing professional development. He has completed the Diploma of Membership of Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) and Diploma in Restorative Dentistry at the Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK) Royal College of Surgeons England. Nathaniel was admitted to the degree of Master of Science with merit having followed a programme of advanced study in Clinical Dentistry (Restorative Dentistry) on the 17th of November 2016
Nathaniel also works as a Clinical Tutor/Teacher at Guy’s Dental Department and King’s college Hospital.
Nathaniel has a keen interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry and is a member of the following organisation:
Nathaniel is gentle, approachable and is a firm believer in always putting the patient’s best interest first while providing dental care.
His hobbies are travelling, socialising with new people of different cultural backgrounds and running.
Dr. Giulia Rella qualified from Plovdiv Medical School in Bulgaria in 2023.
Her training abroad has allowed her to come in contact with a variety of different patients from different backgrounds and needs.
After working in her hometown in Italy, Giulia decided to move to the UK to further her dental career
She has been working at Watling Street Dental care since April.
Giulia’s main focus in on preventative care, and is passionate about giving patients good oral health education.
Her hobbies are travelling, learning new languages, weightlifting and listening to music.
Dr. Rahim graduated from King’s College London in July 2024 with a degree in Dental Surgery. With a strong foundation in clinical dentistry, Rahim is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care.
He is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and well-informed throughout their treatment process. Known for a gentle touch and attention to detail, Rahim takes pride in offering personalised care tailored to each patient’s unique needs. He has a keen interest in restorative dentistry, orthodontics and Oral Surgery.
Outside of Dentistry, Rahim enjoys travelling, swimming and cooking for friends. With a commitment to fostering a welcoming and friendly environment, Rahim looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.
Michelle is our Practice co-Ordinator, and has been at WSDC for 8 years.
She takes charge of all things compliance related, Rota’s, Payroll and all the behind the scenes admin!
Her favourite thing about her job is making sure everything is in place and done correctly.
In her spare time, she spends time with her family, visits the gym and likes to try new cuisine.
Helena has been working at WSDC for 2 years as a dental receptionist.
Her favourite thing about her job is the people she comes in contact with on a daily basis, and she strives to make every patients visit a pleasant one, with a warm and friendly greeting.
In her spare time she likes listening to music, especially country! And spending time with her friends and family.
Kerry has been a dental receptionist at WSDC for almost 2 years.
She has recently finished her Level 3 Certificate in Dental Reception.
Kerry enjoys being kept busy and taking on different tasks, especially accounting.
In her spare time she enjoys gardening, reading, crafting and visiting the theatre and concerts with her husband.
Kelly is our Head Nurse and has been at the Practice for 9 years.
Kelly works with the Foundation Dentists, which she finds very rewarding.
She is also studying a Dental Nurse Assessor qualification.
Outside of work, she spends time with her husband, loves shopping and solialising.
Ciara has been working at WSDC as a Nurse and Treatment Co-Ordinator for 8 years.
She has gained many additional qualifications in dentistry and a Certificate In Education and Training, to support and mentor other members of staff.
Outside of work she is a huge football fan, enjoys travelling and cooking.
Gemma has been working at Watling Street Dental Care as a dental nurse for 10 years.
She is extremely organised and also works hard to book patients for their Surgical extraction appointments.
In her spare time, she spends time with her young family, goes to the gym and helping out with her son’s football team.
Oana has been working at Watling street Dental Care for 3years as a Dental nurse.
She is currently working towards a qualification in Oral health Education, and is also running a Smoking Cessation Clinic with Franklin.
Outside of work, she spends time with her children, their animals and enjoys visiting Romania whenever she can.
Katie has been at Watling Street for 9 months and is studying the apprenticeship in dental Nursing.
She loves her job, learning something new every day and the new challenges it brings.
Outside of work, Katie spends time with her two children and regularly goes to the gym.
